Calif Tenant left belonging after eviction

I have a rental house in Calif. We evicted the tenant they left before court date but left some thing in the house and the back yard full of junk including a car. Do I need to store these items? Is there a different between whats inside the house and whats in the backyard?

Send it to their last know address (probably your property) and request a forwarding address.
