Lease length

Is 2 years the maximum lease term you can write in California?

Why would you want a lease greater than 1 yr?
It's not a matter of why someone would want a lease greater than 1 year, it's a matter of following CA lease laws.
There are no stated regulations to the limitations of the length of a lease in Virginia. A written lease most likely can be of any length within reason as long as it is clearly specified within your lease.
