1 bedroom with child

rentead a 1 bedroom apartment to a woman with an 11 year old daughter in Mishawaka,Indiana. the woman has the child every other week. is there a law stating the child must have her own bedroom and where can i find it?

I don't think there is a law that the child has to have her own bedroom.  In CA, a there can be 2 people per bedroom and 1 in the living room, so a total of 3 people would not be considered excessive.
This is usually handled in your state's department of children and youth. I do not recall Indiana having a Landlord Tenant Statute regarding occupancy.
