In NY State what are the laws for leaving a car behind -- abandoning it Can the land lord take expenses out of the security deposit? For removal?

You will need to send official notice to the last known address of the tenant or forwarding address, then usually hold it for 30 day then you may discard, sell or tow. You can use the security for this and in the mean time you can remove it from the property so that you can fix up and prepare the house for the next tenant.
