Hi, I am property manager and in the process of evicting one of my tenants. The tenants are dodging the process servers; therefore, the attorney needs to "go in ex parte". What does that mean? Thank You

An ex parte order is when you go through the eviction process without a hearing, usually because the tenant already agreed to move out and hasn't. You file in court for an ex parte order, and the court can either deny or approve the request to move forward with the eviction without scheduling a hearing.
