law on a rental agreement with two people names

would like to know ,what happens when one tenant wants to give 30 day notice? also the other facts when there is two people on the agreement!!??

It would depend on the agreement. If a "joint and several liability" clause is used in the lease, then that means that everyone is responsible singly and wholly for the lease terms. So unless ALL tenants and landlord agree to release the tenant in question, they are still responsible.
