Is the tenant that is vacating required to clean?

As the above subject asks. I have a tenant vacating in a couple of days and I was wondering if he is required to have the apartment cleaned prior to vacating? Thanks

In most cases, yes. Tenant is required to return unit in the same condition as they received it.
