Eviction

I received a notice on August 6th, 2013 from the Hayward, CA Housing Authority Section 8 indicating that my tenant has lost her section 8 funding for cause.  I immediately notified the tenant that I will not be renewing the lease and that it will end as of 9/30/13 and she will need to vacate the premises as of 9/30/2013.  She signed the notice and agreed to move.  Do I still need to go through the eviction process if she does not move out?
