notice required for person not on lease but living there

What are the requirements for 1 person being on the lease with a listing of who is able to live there. The leasee has broken up with his girlfriend and wants her and the kids to move out. We have a 30 day lease with him. Is he required to give her notice? Are we? We know we will need a new lease with him. She also brought into the home an authorized dog but the breakup is the biggest issue now. Please advise.

If they are stated as applicants they must be given 30 days notice to move out. If they do not move out or are not part of the lease, starting the eviction process will the next step in getting them out.
