Cannot Locate Tenant for Deposit Refund

Have tried to locate tenant via e-mail, text message, and called his mobile number with no success. Am approaching the 21 day window to return the portion of his deposit owed to him. How do I handle this situation? Amount to be refunded is less than $300.00. Thank you.

If the tenant does not contact you, leave you a forwarding address or cannot be located/contacted by you, you may be able to claim the remainder of the security deposit. You must have phone records and emails proving that you tried to contact and I personally would wait 60 days to take the money for your own.
