Move-out & Eviction
Rent collection during 60 day no cause notice

I have a tenant who signed a year lease. The year is up, rent payment was returned as insufficient funds. I received the payment for the month for NSF but refuse to renew the lease and gave them a 60 Day No Cause Notice. Their rent is currently late which I gave them a 3 day notice to pay or quit. Can I start eviction proceedings since a 60 day Notice has been given? I believe that they are responsible during the 60 days to continue paying their rent, is this correct?

You can start the eviction immediately from my understanding however this seems like it may be a tricky circumstance, call your lawyer and get ready for eviction. Make sure you submit all forms that you need to the court to start the paperwork
