I am the executor of an estate in Huntington, WV. One of the heirs lives in the garage apartment on the property. I am trying to sell the property in order to close the estate and distribute funds to all heirs involved. The gentleman who is buying the property was there today with the appraiser to obtain financing and the heir living in the apartment refused to let them in and called the police. The appraiser and the police told the buyer that I needed to evict the person before he bought it. What is the quickest and easiest way for me to obtain this eviction. I have been dealing with this situation for over seven years and this particular heir has lived there rent free, paying no taxes, etc. the entire time. Thank you for your assistance.
