Security Deposit

In PA we rented an apartment to a boyfriend and girlfriend with both of their names on the lease. The girlfriend moved out 5 months into the lease. The boyfriend fulfilled his obligations and finished the year lease. We need to return the security deposit, do we split it between the two or give it to the boyfriend who finished the lease and cleaned the unit before he left?
