What can I do if tenant states they will not vacate until 3 days after lease has expired? They were given and accepted a non-renewal notice and a notice to vacate property and told us they would be out on the lease expiration date. Our rental is in Florida

Is there any particular reason they can not move until 3 days after the lease expires? It may be in your best interest to pro rate rent for 3 days and let them stay for those 3 extra days. Do you have a new tenant moving in, and you need to turnover the property?
