termination of lease for violations

I have given tenants a  termination of lease notice with 30 days to move out, this was for violations of lease. I live in virginia. Do I need to also send an eviction notice also?

An eviction notice would only be used if the tenant does not comply with the notice that you already gave and you would need to start the eviction process.
