hello, I am about to give a 30 day notice to a good tenant. she has been my tenant for the last 8 years. the property is in so. California. do I have to give her the reason for me asking her to move out . this is my first time doing this. or do I have to give her longer than 30 day notice . please advise... thank you!!

I have read that you do not have to give reasons to vacate on the notice-- but it seems that they will ask anyway. Verbal reasons can be given when they ask
