Florida 3 day notice

If your tenants are given until the 5th before rent is considered late when can the three day notice be delivered to tenant. Do you have to wait until after the 5th or can it be delivered to tenant on the third.

I can't say for Florida. For my lease due on the first so it's actually late on the second. I just don't charge a late fee until the third. But I think the standard is to send the pay or quit the day the late fee goes into effect.
