Tenant death

One of my tenants died yesterday in a motorcycle accident. He was on a month to month lease as a lone occupant. I understand he has a roommate that I was not aware of.   I am only interested in possession of the unit only.  I know he has firearms and tools in the unit so I want to proceed correctly.
