I found damage that my tenant hid from me and I didn't catch at the move out inspection and I still have their deposit. It was yesterday. Can I still charge them since

You could try. Make sure to take pics, keep receipts. Give them their deposit back less the costs include the breakdown of the repair costs. They could always sue you and maybe get the money back. Depending on what it is I might take the risk.

Most states give you a minimum of 14 days to inspect, bill and/or return deposit just for that reason.
