Internet Fee

My landlord wants to give his tenets an option to pay him for their internet service. He wants to charge every tenet 11 dollars per month; which would be cheaper for the tenet. However, the landlord would actually be making a profit from doing this. I do not think the internet company would like this very much. I just do not think that should be right... Is this legal?

as far as I know, If that service is stipulated in the rental agreement, then yes it's legal. I believe it would come under the area of "paid utilities and the like".
