If a tenant gives you a hold deposit to hold the unit and then 7 days before the tenant moves in they call and say they no longer want the unit but they want the deposit back do they have the right to get it back?

Sherry, with the hold deposit, did you have them sign anything? IE... stating it was nonrefundable?
