Grease fire in rental property

My tenants had a grease fire and cause damage to most of the kitchen and dining area. Also there was smoke damage in serval areas of the house. The tenants have renters insurance. Since they have insurance and they cause the fire there insurance should cover it all.  Can I go after the renter liability insurance since they neglecting the pan on the stove that cause the fire.

Yes absolutely, was there a fire report by the local fire company? Get all evidence of cause and damages and make sure that insurance pays you for any losses or damages, talk to your home owner ins also they will usually do the negotiating.
