If a person agrees to do repairs and stay free at house until work is completed in lieu of payment, how can you have the person vacate the property if the person now demanding payment and does not wish to leave?

If you had an agreement that they stayed to do the work, then they cannot demand payment. Call an attorney and get this joker out of your property.
