Recording

I live in Mississippi an what I want to can I be evicted for recording a conversation between myself(one-party consent) and the property manager if she stated in a memo no cellphones in office.

The question is…..why are they not allowed and can they prevent you from having it or must it be turned off?......... Is it so that it doesn’t interfere the meeting, or meeting can’t be video-taped, or conversation can’t be recorded.
They are not allowed in the office at all. From what I understand is a conversation that a tenant recorded the conversation between them. Based on what I know she's often denied verbal confirmation to tenants that she previously agreed to so tenants have resorted to recording conversations between themselves and the manager since her verbal agreements turns out to be patronizing statements made in the moment. I think the consequences of eviction is illegal and unfair especially if it's not officially mandated as rules or part of the lease agreement.
