Under the table income

I am pretty sure I know the response I will get but just to be certain I wanted to post it. I have a tenant that has reported part of their monthly income coming from under the table income ($1500 a month!). She says she can supply a check to me for confirmation but I am not comfortable with it. Your thoughts please.
