Awaiting Applicant Response

I submitted an application for tenant screening.  My potential tenant advised me that he has completed the application but I still see Awaiting Applicant Response.   One thing we noticed was I put in Patric and his name is spelled Patrick.  I left off the K, would that cause an issue?  If so how do I fix it?
