New landlord.  ? about breaking the lease agreement. CA

Hello all. I have been  a lanlord for 1 month and already have an issue. This issue is between the two tenants actually.  Its 2 families one is my sister, her husband and child.  The other family is his brother, wife and child.  This family is claiming hostility in the house from my sister's side.  And she says there is none. So it sounds like a he say/she say case.  The brother saught out legal advice, and the attorny said that was grounds to break the lease.  I am not sure how to handle the situation? The thought came accross my mind that he might saying this just to get out of the lease.  Please help me out, thanks in advance.

As long as they are paying the rent and not violating the rental agreement, it’s best to not get involved. I’m not sure the attorney is correct. There doesn’t appear to be any basis to terminate the lease per your information. What do you want to see happen?  ---- Disclaimer: Since I’ve been answering a lot of questions, I thought I would make the following statement. I’m not affiliated with EZlandlord Forms. I’m just here (not sure how long) to help those that have questions. Having 40+ yrs with Rental Property and done well, it’s my way of “Pay it Forward (check out the movie).” However, it is up to you to become familiar with your State/Local laws. I always like to know if the suggestions I offer are helpful. Feel free to comment anytime. Thanks in Advance.
