I rented the first floor ofmy duplex to a young woman who was alone at the time without a lease and $100 less in rent because I felt sorry for her. Itold her no dogs andshe said no problem. Now her boyfriend has moved in and she has a great dane puppy that isdestroying my yard. Itold her finally the dog has to go or they have to go(by the way I love dogs), but cannot afford repairs as I am a senior on fixed income. Is aletter from giving 30 days notice sufficient?

Yes you would want to give them the 30 days notice to fix or quit. Then if nothing changes file for eviction.
