how much in los angel in a rent control area can amount of rent be raised if an additional tenant is added to lease.

In LA you must give at least 30 days notice and can raise the rent 10% for each additional tenant. If you have had notice of the tenant living in the property for more than 60 days and you have not given a rent increase notice,  you have forfeited the right to increase your rent. Hope that helps!!!
