Who has to be included in the lease?

Long story short. We are renting out our townhouse to an interim Pastor. The church wants the lease in the church's name only! They requested the Pastor residing in the unit not be on the Lease. That seems like a set up for disaster. I am not sure how to proceed. Do I put the Church as renter and add a personal guaranty? And put strict expectations and the persons name living there somewhere in the lease?

YEs, You will want to draw out the terms so that you are not taken advantage of. Note what you agreed to in your lease.
