Additional teneant - temporary basis

Our Tenants just moved in, and they are asking for the older adult daughter to move in on a temporary basis. I want to be understanding, but I feel this might be a bad sign. If we do let her move in "temporarily", can we charge extra for rent, do we have to do some leave addendum? Help.

The daughter will be end up be considered a tenant. So if you are going to allow it you might as well have her sign the lease and maybe a roommate addendum. I usually increase the rent $100 for an extra adult staying at a property, I explain it is for the extra wear and tear. If you pay any utilities I might raise it a little more. The plus side is they bothered to ask you instead of moving her in as a guest until you find out three months later.
