Sub-leasing by the tenant

During COVID, I have a tenant has been able to work from home and has temporarily gone to live with her boyfriend in another state.  She's been very good about paying her rent.  But she expects to do this for another 6 months and has asked if I mind if she sublease her furnished unit?  I've never allowed this in the past, but am willing to consider this given how good this tenant is.  I am in the State of CA.  I'd love to hear what I need to be concerned about and/or plan fort if I allowed this arrangement?  Thanks!
