Move-out notice not given by tenant

I have a 90-day notice stipulation in my lease (Virginia) which my tenant did not abide by and instead moved out without notice. Is it possible to recover 90 days worth of rent? SInce they moved out in early December I am out at least a month due to repairs.

Bob, I would love to be able to find a tenant asap except that the previous tenant decided to try his hand at meth production. So, I have had to have a comprehensive inspection and cleanup so it is taking longer than normal.  Thanks for your reply.  Mike
You may be able to recover to the 90 days. However, it is your responsibility to find a new tenant asap. So, if you find a new tenant in 60 days, you can only collect 60 Days rent. You may also be able to collect expenses for finding a new tenant. Check your renal agreement and local/state laws. . -----Disclaimer: Since I’ve been answering a lot of questions, I thought I would make the following statement.
