When calling the prospective tenant's supervisor to verify their employment, what kind of information am I allowed to verify? Job start date? Salary?

You are allowed to ask : 1. length of time employed (start date, etc) 2. current pay 3. status- temporary or permanent 4. salary 5. title

what information do you request to verify income on self employment.

Hi Allison, The screening does not include employment verification, however we do have a form you can use to send to the applicant that they can give to their employer to fill out.
