What is the average credit score of applicants for a single family house?

The USDA states you must have around a 640 or higher. Different loans take different factors into account. It is not always the credit score. There are different factors that go into getting approved.

Credit score alone not matter when screening a tenant. I use tenant screening services from Kingsbury Homes. They check the previous eviction, criminal record with respect to credit history.
