i have two rental properties and i am not a real estate professional. can i start up a LLC from my two rentals in order to protect myself more against any possible legal actions taken by my tenants? i am doing this rental on the side. any info would be great.

Moheb, Yes, you can form an LLC to protect yourself, in fact, it's a great idea. You can do it on your own, hire an attorney, or seek the services of online companies who will set it up for you. Good luck.
