Tenant Changed Lease End Date and I didn't notice

My tenant took white-out through the lease end date of 2013 and changed it to 2014 without me noticing. Now I want them to move out at the end of the 2013 lease date, but I'm not sure if the change they made in enforceable since I signed the lease?

No I don't have the original. My co-owner sent me the copy and the tenant has the original. However, I have read some stuff that says changes to a legal document must be initialed by both parties. Is this true?

Wow.. that is certainly tricky. Do you have the original lease with white out on it? You should still be able to ask them to move out, esp with that trick. However, you need to send them a non-renewal notice.
