When is a "good" time to move a tenant in on first day, and " good" time to expect them out on move out? I keep hearing normal business hours?

Move-in time…anytime after 8am. Move-out time…If tenant wants a final inspection, the place MUST be completely empty (and this includes the garage, etc) by 3pm. If no final inspection is required any time before 5pm. Get in writing that no final inspection is required. ---- Disclaimer: Since I’ve been answering a lot of questions, I thought I would make the following statement. I’m not affiliated with EZlandlord Forms. I’m just here (not sure how long) to help those that have questions. Having 40+ yrs with Rental Property and done well, it’s my way of “Pay it Forward (check out the movie).” However, it is up to you to become familiar with your State/Local laws. I always like to know if the suggestions I offer are helpful. Feel free to comment anytime. Thanks in Advance.

When a tenant is moving in, they generally have their stuff packed or available for them to start early in the morning. So I set a 9am time so that they can have the daylight hours. When moving out they are generally doing last minute cleaning and such so I give them a 3pm move out time.
