My tenants signed a 1yr lease ending May 1st but my husband and I split and I would like to move back in the home. Is that a reason that I could ask the tenants to leave early?

Each state is different, and it can also depend on how long the tenants have rented, but I do believe landlords may send notice to vacate for certain reasons. You may want to do a little research regarding your state laws. I believe some are 60 days notice, but you def want to double check.
