Installing New Heating system, MA

My husband and I are new homeowners & landords. We are installing a new heating system where we are going to be without hot water for hopefully only 5 days. I unerstand the tenants can refuse to pay a month if we do not provide hot water for less than 2 days (?) unless you have them sign some paperwork? Sound accurate? If so what paperwork do I need them to sign? Any advice or suggestions are very much appreciated. Thanks!

Where did you get the 2 day rule with regards to hot water? I think it would be best to def let your tenant know in advance.
