Newly Married Tenant - Husband Also Liable?

My tenant tied the knot last October, however she still remains living in the rental unit with her children, ages 18 and 24. She is behind on her rent and has been paying late before the non-payment. My Question is: Is Hubby responsible for his New Wife's debt? The rental is in the state of Wi. Any help with this mastter would be appreciated.

When it comes to collectors he may well be but as far as what she owes you directly if he is not on the contract then you cannot demand payment from him. You may have to turn towards a collection agency.
