Number of bedrooms for children

Is it required to have separate bedrooms for opposite sex young children.

There are no laws regarding children of opposite sex sharing bedrooms in Ohio, unless it is a foster child. I know in Virginia Children of the opposite sex over the age of three shall not sleep in the same room.
