In Minnesota, if the unit you are renting is broken into and you are robbed at gunpoint. They have threatened to return. Is there anything in the Minnesota law that would allow you to get out of your lease under those circumstances?

Yes a report like this to the police would be a valid way to cleanly break a lease with no repercussion. In the lease there is usually a statement of well being to the tenant, the landlord cannot knowingly hold a tenant to a lease if their lives are in danger.
