death of tenant  greensboro  NC

Need to know my rights upon a tenants death in  NC.   He has no lease; month to month basis; only one living on property.  Just to add; no transaction of money for  January rent.

If that tenant has paid up until January, I would have let them go. Contact family members kindly with a date on when you would like to have the stuff out, then start finding new tenants. Always with difficult situations, it is always good to have a lawyer guide you with every step so no mistakes are made.
