I'm looking to sell my rental property in NJ. I want to protect myself as well as my tenants. Does anyone know what the process is in the state of NJ?

Make sure to look through your lease and to give the tenants proper notice.

If in your lease you have a clause stating that the property is still for sale and needs to remain in showable condition then yes you can! You would just want to give your tenants notice that the property has been sold.

Depends on the state. Your agent would advise.

Firstly, talk to your legal advisor then take the right decision.
