Do I have to accept excessively late rent or can I evict regardless?

The lease agreement stipulates rent is due on the 15th of each month. My tenant has been playing games and giving me one excuse after another for why she hasn't paid February 2018's rent yet. We've started the eviction process and she's received the notice that she has until 4/2/18 to vacate the premises. She keeps promising she will have both Feb and March rent by the end of this week. This is not the first time this has happened, and frankly, we just want her gone. If she miraculously comes up with the money for February rent, do we have to accept it or can we say "Too late"?

If she paid and that was the reason for eviction, i would accept. However, i would contact an attorney to see what you can do in this situation.
