After signing lease before actually move in

I have a couple that just signed lease paid deposit yesterday. This morning I receive a call demanding to remove one of the tenants from lease due to that tenant being arrested for illegal activity outside my property premises. I believe I am right to say I have to have that person permission consent and they must be present when new lease is drawn up. My question is there any clause that helps me in just getting them both out before i have a real mess. They both checked out but hey

Wow! First day!? I don't know if you can get the one tenant out because of another one's problems. But i would not renew this lease since its already off to an interesting start. Keep up with property inspections!!! Very important to keep all your paperwork also.
