Hi, I live in an in-law apartment in the back of my landlords home can you please tell me if I have the same rights as tenants that live in regular apartments?? My landlord installed a video camera in the back of his home facing directly at my door 24/7 watching me coming and going and he didn't inform me that he will be installing a camera. what are the rules regarding video cameras?? Thank you for your help in advance Anilta Singh

I believe camera's are allowed, as long as it is not looking at windows and only at the outer property. i would consult with an attorney and see what you exact rights are.
