Hello, I am in process of renting out a property in Bothell, Washington. I have a prospective tenant who has a certified service dog. Does anyone know if I have the right to charge non-refundable security deposit of $500 and additional monthly $25 for a service dog? Thank you, Peter.

Check with your lawyer. In most states, you can charge but not deny occupancy.

I don't think charging for a service dog is legal./or ethical either.
