getting reinbursted for carpeting and other flooring as well as deposit from landlord

i replaced flooring in three rooms and explained to the landlord about the flooring and didn't get a response now my wife and me are moving out in 30 days and are wondering how to get reemburst for the flooring as well the security deposit don't want to make a legel issue but feel i upgraded there house but not for free

If there is no agreement that you were to be reimbursed, then you have no entitlement here.
